The KFD0-HMS-16 is a slave module designed to operate as part of Pepperl+Fuchs' HART multiplexer system. It expands the capacity of the HART multiplexer master module (KFD2-HMM-16) by adding 16 additional channels for connecting HART-enabled field devices. When combined with the master module and additional slave units, the system can support up to 256 HART field devices
Channel Capacity: Provides 16 channels for connecting analog field devices via HART communication.
System Integration: Functions as a slave unit to the KFD2-HMM-16 master module. Up to 15 additional KFD0-HMS-16 slave modules can be connected to the master, enabling large-scale system configurations.
Connectivity:Uses a 14-pin flat ribbon cable for communication and power connection to the master module.
Analog signals are connected via a 26-pin flat ribbon cable.
Power Supply: No external power required; it is powered through the master module via the ribbon cable connection.
HART Compliance: Supports HART field devices compliant with HART revisions 5 to 7
